Project Details
Lumberjack Landing's Park building known locally as Aiple House is an adaptive reuse project that transformed a historic residential structure to serve public park and boat launch functions while preserving architectural character and heritage significance. Our design approach balanced respect for historic details with thoughtful interventions providing durability, efficiency, and flexible public use. Building systems were updated to contemporary standards while interior and exterior spaces were enhanced to support community access and recreational programming.
The renovation connects visitors to both recreational opportunities and cultural heritage within the community. Strategic preservation decisions ensure the Aiple House remains a valued asset serving multiple community functions. The renovation exemplifies how heritage buildings can be revitalized as functional civic resources supporting public recreation and cultural continuity.
