Project Details
Positioned on a ridge overlooking wetlands, the Northwest Greenway Pavilion functions as a signature three-season community gathering space designed for large events, festivals, and everyday neighborhood use. Our design strategically organizes the pavilion to maximize views of the surrounding landscape while providing essential amenities including an adaptable plaza, server room with sink and refrigeration, serving counter, and green room for event support.
The open-air structure features stone piers, steel framework, and richly detailed wood tongue-and-groove ceilings in the main gathering space, creating an elevated public architecture that enhances rather than overwhelms the natural setting. The form and orientation enable year-round programming while the materiality—stone, steel, and wood—creates visual richness and durability. the pavilion has become integral to Plymouth's parks system and community culture.
