The Providence Public Works Complex renovation project addresses the needs of aging municipal infrastructure through comprehensive assessment and innovative design solutions. Provided under Rowse Architects, our team conducted space needs assessment and developed strategic planning to maximize functionality within unique site constraints, including options for renovation versus rebuild of the existing facility. Design work involved optimization of site conditions, relocation of a Material Transfer Station to the east site boundary, and workflow improvements enhancing municipal operations.

Our adaptive approach to shifting program requirements and budget assessments, combined with comprehensive public works facility expertise, resulted in design solutions meeting all client objectives and operational constraints. the facility demonstrates our ability to deliver responsive, cost-effective solutions for complex municipal infrastructure projects through collaborative design leadership.
