Bio-Techne GMP Facility

The Bio-Techne GMP facility build-out transforms a St. Paul building into a specialized manufacturing environment producing Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) reagent proteins for cell and gene therapy applications. Our design created ISO-grade pharmaceutical production spaces with varying ISO classifications (5-8) organized around a Controlled, Not Classified corridor enabling unidirectional flow and contamination prevention.

The build-out includes all new mechanical and electrical systems, production support spaces, loading dock and shipping/receiving areas, office space, locker room, and shower facilities. A 5,500-square-foot penthouse houses mechanical systems dedicated to production support. The building exterior received a new metal skin around the office area while existing precast panels were carefully cleaned, repaired, and refinished. The design demonstrates our expertise in specialized bioscience manufacturing environments. the facility enables Bio-Techne's expansion into advanced therapeutic protein production.
